Life is tough

Hello reader!

Today I have been thinking about the importance of doing something you know you should do when you don't want to.
Turns out, it is important! It has come up a lot in the books I have read this year, whether you want to get in shape, learn something new, break a bad habit or start up a new one - consistency is a key factor.

There is also the argument that getting into the habit of doing something when you don't feel like it, makes it easier to to do the same in the future. If you allow yourself to say "Ah, maybe tomorrow" to many times, you don't end up doing it!

For me today this meant doing some cardio fitness training. Didn't want to, didn't feel like it. But I do want to live a long healthy life, so now here I am, writing this blog, feeling hot, sweaty, exhausted and happy.

Here's to doing what you don't want to do, consistently.

You're living your dream! You've had the guts to do it when many people would have been discouraged and given up before getting as far as you have.

"The big break--will it come?!" Does it matter? Enjoy the journey and all the great times along the way while trying to make it happen. I'm forever grateful for the tune "To the Letter". That song has given me great joy over the past several years.

Of all the artists over the decades--only a few have put out songs that I love. To me--you exist in that special class. "Timeless artists". To be in that class should be good enough, but I hope the hard work really pays off for you.

"Exactly what we wanted, kept our guests up and dancing all evening, so happy we were able to book!"

"Lucas made the party, it wouldn't have been the same without him, great selection of songs - couldn't have asked for more!"
